    Still superb all round value for a midrange smartphone.

    This is easily the best smartphone available for around £200. It is solid, full of easy to use features around the android OS, and is discreet with a large very clear screen. The camera is superb and the sound excellent. It's been around a while now (March 2013) but it still represents excellent value in the mid-range smartphone category.

    Super phone very good value, don't be put off by all those negative reviews

    I've read a lot of negative views about this camera so it was with some doubts that I bought it. I'd had an HTC legend for a few years and wanted an upgrade but not with a screen that made it more like a laptop. So - the major points - it does everything very well with no hold ups, can't speak about games as I don't use them but I've never found it short of computing power. Screen and camera are good if not exceptional (I don't really expect SLR performance) Battery is incredible! In general use I only bother to charge it every 3 days against the legends every day. I'm getting used to ICS but have found no real issues with the system, just a few different ways to do things

    Buy it if you dont mind rebooting every day or more.

    One serious fatal flaw: at least once a day, sometimes more, the data connection of this phone stops. It just disconnects from everything: 3G, Wifi, the lot. Everything still displays as 'connected' but nothing goes in our out. The only way to get it back is to turn off completely and turn back on. This is now a well documented flaw. After a week I installed another ROM (CM9) hoping that changing the phone's operating system would over come the data disconnecting problem. Sadly it did not. So whatever the cause is, its a hardware issue. I did a little research before buying this phone and after watching a "top 5" android entry level handset comparison piece on The Gadget show (this phone was top of the list for features and general usage) I bought it.     Very sattisfactory purchase.

    Why you bought it I bougt the Smartphone for my daughter, so most of the questions I'm not suitable to answer. From what she told me she is very happy with it. It took her a while to get use to it, because it was something diffirent, but once she did, it was very easy to use. She is very content with the phone and what services it offers.

    Good alternative to oversized smartphones

    The main drawback with this phone is the fact that you get no user manual with it. I personally like to sit with the manual and play with the phone to find out all of it's features and how they work. With HTC you have to go online to find how to do everything you want to which I find time consuming and annoying. That said the phone is great.
