    Replacement unit

    We had a unit exactly like this and was extremely pleased. We got it at a garage sale and it lasted quite a while then quit recognizing the discs. This fits into our system exactly the same and we are very glad to have found it.

    Home Theater at it's best

    Our Samsung HT-P38 was showing it's age and we were continuing to have problems with it. The one that we purchased on e-bay had none of those problems. It works fine and because it is part of a surround sound that has DVD capabilities we wanted to keep the system as it was. This accomplished what we wanted.

    It works

    Everything does work as advertised, but if the dvd has even the smallest smudge or scratch it will not play properly. We have tried to watch 2 Redbox rented movies and both of them stopped. The brand new movie we purchased played without a hiccup. I suppose i can't complain too much for the price, but it's still frustrating. Cost and delivery time were excellent.
