HOPED IT WOULD BE OK, but no. my own fault for buying anything with a global shipping cost. not only did your package cost a lot more than i paid you, they held the pkg for ransom, for several days, demanded that i prepay, by internet, the canadian taxes,as well as more cash to ship it. we dont pay duties to a foreign shipper, only to our govt. which i did. if you had just used USPS, no scamming.

So I sent a message to the seller, and he/she responded quickly. I had a brand new remote shipped/delivered in less than a week.The microscope itself, is great! The LCD screen is much more convenient than trying to look through traditional observation ports.It's important to know that it takes some time experimenting with the microscope to get a hang of it's capabilities.
