    Works fine

    Plate fits and works fine. Only observation is that the cork "cushion" on the original plate provides a more stable mounting surface than the rubber "cushion" on the newer replacement plates. Rubber gaskets "flex" where cork gaskets do not. That is fine for many applications, but not necessarily helpful for mounting a camera where one wants absolutely no movement / flex.
