This really opens you up to the dark side of the force without it being just about someone was evil and they wanted to be more evil. Bane, the main character is an absolute terror but the life he lived was such a struggle and is relatable to some people’s lives today. Great read!

Great read. Includes all the background info on Darth Bane that was lacking. Karpyshyn paints his characters in a vivid way, introducing the reader to each character through their emotions and overall "soul". It was great to read about many things in the Star Wars universe that were not "fleshed" out. Karpyshyn successfully "fleshes" out many of them, and he introduces the "rule of two" Sith philosophy for the first time. Hard to put this one down if you are a Star Wars fan.Great read. Darth Bane: Path of Destruction was one of the first Star Wars novels that I read, and to this date remains one of my favorites. I found this book interesting from the first page. This book really gives you a good sense of what leads people to the dark side and let's you see, in depth the history of the Sith. Depsite a few small continuity problems, Drew Karpyshyn really captured the feel of the days of the old republic. I would have to say that this book is a must read!Darth Bane: Path of Destruction was one of the first Star Wars novels that I read, and to this date remains one of my favorites.
