    Awesome!

    This is an awesome product! It is lightweight and very easy to use. It has video and still picture capability. It uses a mini DV cassette tape which are still readily available for purchase with a slot to put in a memory stick. It appears the biggest one you can get for the DCR-TRV33 model is the 128 mb stick of which I have purchased and should be getting soon. It did come with the standard 4 mb stick. The Li-ion battery charges up via unit or you can purchase a charger for it. I just purchased a Powerextra charger and 2 replacement batteries (kit) for it that work like a champ! Once you record onto the cassette, you can play back just like a VCR. Once you "snap" your pictures onto the memory stick, you can play those back too. Highly recommend this Camcorder!     My review of the DCR-TRV33 Camcorder

    This is a very good choice for a Camcorder. I have had several of them and I foundit to be as good if not better than most camcorders. This camcorder uses the smaller tapes. It is able to carry a larger memory stick. I think the Trv33 and the Trv22 are very similar and are both good camcorders. My choice for a camcorder with a bigger tape in it is the Trv350 and the TRV460 as they also can use a bigger memory stick.

    Sony Handy Cam

    I had another one that was old and finally died while down in South Padre Island this winter. I am a videographer with other cameras for weddings but with this it's easy to carry around and shoot easily. I really haven't used it yet as I am busy getting my home ready to sell.

    So pleased with this product that I already purchased a 2nd for the future

    I already had this exact same model camcorder and for taping daylight airshows, the viewfinder is a must. I was so pleased with it that I wanted to get another as a backup. The one I purchased via this auction has proved to be even a bit better than my original, so it has become my primary already! The camera records nice, crisp digital video on Mini-DV tapes. I am able to easily copy these tapes to DVDs, as the camcorder's playback is quite good and I can edit the video easily via the touch-screen or the manual controls.
