    easy setup, not picky about hard drive, works with sv3c cams. not terribly user friendly

    easy setup, no hassle with hard drive detection or camera detection. it isnt very user friendly, i still cant figure out how to setup motion sense. it works fine with my sv3c cameras. nice interface. amazing how it can record so many streams without working up a sweat at all.

    Poor support

    I bought this but their cameras had such a narrow range that I needed more than 8, so i tried to upgrade and Amcrest told me to buy a new one then return this. After that they wouldn't accept my return. Trying to use the old one I can't get the alerts to work, still can't get support.

    Great ONVIF NVR!

    I'm really liking this NVR. My camera setup is 2x Amcrest UltraHD 4K (8MP), 1x Amcrest SmartHome 4MP Outdoor WiFi Camera, 1x Amcrest 1080P Battery Home Security Camera System, 1x Amcrest 1080P Smart Home WiFi Camera, Baby Monitor, and 1x PTZ Security Camera Outdoor ,GEREE CCTV Camera 1080P. Overal I really love my Amcrest cameras, but also like that this NVR supports ONVIF for non-amcrest camera. Adding cameras, especially if they're Amcrest ones, is super easy. The app that goes with the NVR works ok, but the web interface is much better! Getting this setup was really easy, just install the harddrive, format it, and you're good to go. Having the built-in POE on the NVR is a bonus.

    Onvif motion detection failure

    Live view works on all onvif non-Amcrest cameras I have. Motion detection ONLY works on Amcrest cameras. Onvif compatibility is incomplete.
