The purpose of the acquisition was to reduce the number of turns of the fan to make it noiseless. After reducing the number of RPM the sound from the engine double overrides the noise due to the spin so - the experiment failed.

Unfortunately this Adjustable Motor Speed Controller Voltage Regulator do not work with a Hon&Guan P8 Quiet 8 Inch Inline Duct Fan as it should be. When trying the regulator the moter was making a rumbling sound. My P8 fan is brand new, the problem is not the fan. This controller is basically the equivalent of a light regulator.
