Excellent for motor swaps!!
I used this to put a 4.6 from a 1999 Grand Marquis into a 1959 Ford Country Sedan wagon. I had to replace the rear sump pan with a front sump pan from a 2000 Lincoln Continental to make it work. I bought this dipstick to relocate the original dipstick tube to the front part of the engine, because the original would not be accessible due to the location of the power brake reservoir. I also needed to shorten the dipstick itself to fit the new front sump pan. The design of this dipstick tube, and the dipstick itself worked perfectly to be able to do both.
