    Excellent Pedal

I haven't tried the effect pedals from other brands since I'm pretty loyal to Boss. Their products are always reliable and are of excellent quality. The DD-6 Delay didn't disappoint in any way. I'm able to get the effect I was looking for with this pedal. There is a newer model available, the DD-7 but this older model gives me all the sounds I want and I was able to find a used pedal for half the price of the new one. I'm very happy with my purchase.

  • stereo in/out

I got this because my dd-3 isn't stereo in, i run two 50 watt combos, and i have my pregain pedals running to an a/b/y switch to send my wah, blues breaker, blues driver, and distortion/overdrive, staged to run in combinations straight into both amps, then i run my ce-20 chorus,re-20 roland space echo, and the dd-6 in stereo through both amplifiers effects loops . It's extremely versitile and CLEAN, and on stage the swirling effects is so spacey and trippy and full. I recommend a dd-6, a dd-7 ,or a dd-20, all three stereo in/out😈

  • Sweet and Natural Delays

This pedals offers splendid delays that decay so naturally it sounds analog. The tap tempo makes this pedal a keeper for life! Great for mild delay rhythms or deep echo type delays. Works well with clean tones and overdrive.

  • Boss Digital Delay DD-6

I don't kmow whether I'm the best person to leave a review for a delay pedal. I have never found a delay effect that fully satisfies me. About a month ago, I bought an Empress Superdelay Vintage Modified for $448. I've returned it and bought the Moog MoogerFooger Delay instead for nearly $700, as it is analog and it seemed the best money could buy. I find the Moog product more natural-sounding, more "organic" as they say. While I'm not blown away with the Moog, I would not want to be without it. But after getting the Moog, I realized that I still needed a digital delay to complement it. I've plugged in a Zoom multi-effect pedal through the effect loop that is built into the Moog. It processes the delayed signal only of the Moog , adding stil more delay, EQ and Chorus to it. I use this ...

  • Warp Speed Scottie!

I love this pedal. Why the DD-7 doesn't have the 'Warp' effect, I don't know. That particular effect is why I hunted down this pedal above the newer ones. I prefer to buy them new because I take good care of my sh*t and most people trash theirs. But, this was an exception; I love the classic delay effects, 'Another brick in the wall pt. X' anyone? But the warp effect is sick, you can get some serious industrial and freaky sounds from it. My dog was looking at me like WTF? Again, someone tell me why the DD-7 doesn't have warp speed?
