Great packaging, fast shipping. Although the item was in very good condition, the disc itself was unreadable for my console. After writing about this to the seller, a quick response in favour of a full refund was given. Very courteous and professional seller. Very happy with this ending. B+

This is a tough movie to "want" to see. I lived in Spokane while this movie was being made and spent a lot of time in the areas which were pictured. I also work with several children who exhibit Asperger behaviors and was interested to see whether the portrayals were authentic or not. Both of the leads were very convincing as were several of the costars. The dynamics that were shown to exist between two idividuals which continuously threatened to disrupt their hard fought for relationship were done with compelling accuracy. It was funny, but with a lot of angst shoring up the sides. Josh Hartett was remarkable!

  • A MUST SEE!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!JOSH HARTNETT WAS AMAZING IN THIS ROLE. AS A YOUNG MAN NAMED DONALD WITH A FORM OF AUTISM CALLED ASPERGER'S SYNDROME.HE'S VERY LONELY WITH REALLY NOTHING GOING FOR HIM IN LIFE EXCEPT FOR A AUTISM GROUP HE HEADS, HE'S JUST LOOKING TO FIND HIS PLACE IN THE WORLD,AND BE AS NORMAL AS HE CAN BE.THEN HE MEETS RADHA MITCHELL WHO PLAYS ISABELLE WHO ALSO HAS ASPERGER'S WHO GIVES DONALD WHAT HE NEEDS,AND CRAVES THE MOST TO FALL IN LOVE,AND A CHANCE TO BE SOMEWHAT NORMAL. ALL THE WHILE TURNING HIS WORLD UPSIDE DOWN.IF YOU'RE A HUGE JOSH HARTNETT FAN LIKE I AM THEN YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS FILM CAUSE IT'S ONE OF HIS BEST ROLES YET.IF YOU LIKED ''RAIN MAN''THEN YOU'LL LOVE ''MOZART AND THE WHALE''.

  • A Lovely Movie

I seen a special viewing of this movie with my daughter & my friend. It was such a moving, uplifting and at times sad. But it definitely gets the point across that children and adults, with Aspergers (a form of High Functioning Autism), are very much able to live a fruitful life. We even meet Jerry, who inspired the movie and has Aspergers. He was very entertaining and since my grandson has Aspergers very encouraging. He stilled my fears for my grandson's future and I thank him for that. And this is just what the movie does, yes there are some bad times, but the adults in the movie were able to get the point across that they, too, can see it through. I highly recommend this movie to all persons, just so they are able to understand what Aspergers is, and just maybe they will do more ...

  • Good story and eye opener

Well I would never usually even look at this movie, but it was assigned for my college English class because were studying and researching on people with Asperger's and Autism. When I first started watching the movie I thought it was kinda boring with the whole taxi scene. But after that it's a good story, something I thought was interesting about the movie is when Donald is in front of the microwave and he starts with 48 and says its a multiple of 12 and all the ways he found the answer. I would now recommend the movie to people who don't really understand what Asperger's or Austism is, they would get some sort of an idea what they go through.

  • Mozart and the Whale

Why do I like this movie? Because it's Spokane. Spokane is my favorite city of all times. It's also about Asperger's too. It's a love story between the two and I thought it was great how the movie showed everyone is effected differently by it on the spectrum and we are not the same, we're all different. If it weren't for Spokane, I wouldn't have gotten this movie and watched it again. I would have only seen it once and not watch it again.
