    Maggie Smith!

    Can't go wrong with Maggie Smith. A real movie, no guns and expositions and computer generated fluff.A compelling story from a mature woman's point of view. Tragic, romantic, optimistic for the future. Real character development. A young American girl, assorted men and women of various ages and nationalities, etc.- all relatable and important to the story. Tight. Well acted, developed,engaging. But watch it for Maggie.

    My House In Umbria Movie Poster

    I had just visited Sienna, Italy where the movie My House In Umbria takes place. I knew the movie had scenes from that area in it. I just loved the movie and wanted to get the DVD so I could play it for an open house. I remodle houses and resell them. This particulair house had a European decorating theme and I thought it would be perfect to have the movie playing while having an open house. I also purchased the movie poster to go along with several other european posters I have to carry the theme through the family room. There is nothing I disliked about it because all sceens are esential to the plot. The scenery is beautiful and it has a great story line filled with human emotions. I highly recomend it!

    Fascinating movie with an interesting story.

    This movie is both soothing and fascinating to watch. An older lady with quite a story invites others into her home, each with a story of their own, after a train accident brings them together. A wonderful story set in Italy will entertain you for years to come.

    "Umbria" So well written!

    I do not buy many movies and I am very selective. After seeing this movie, I could not wait to buy it because it contains what I look for and is extremely well written. I am a Maggie Smith fan, I love the location in Italy. The film is full of heart and love for mankind yet contains a mystery. The therapy after a tragedy could not be better. The acting is convincing, the setting is perfect, the plot contains compassion and deals with the political unrest of the time. If this sounds interesting to you then it will be a Great movie and worthy of watching over and over!
