  • Practical help and family reference guide for mental illness

Being in the mental health business, we have found this book to be a great, easy to read resource that can be handed to just about anyone with a loved one who is currently first encountering mental illness and are trying to find help and understanding. The book provides references to find various mental health resources, including support organizations. It is easy to read and provides quick concise summaries of medicines and their use, and strategies to begin understanding and dealing with what is at first a very strange new world for those who have someone experiencing serious mental health issues for the first time. It can be read front to back or a page at a time as a reference to specific topics.

  • Good read!

Good book very informative. This book was required for one of my psychology classes. Didn't think it was going to be informational but it turned out to be very helpful. Its easy to read and understand. Love the book.
