    Good flick but....

    We are enjoying this film in short viewing sessions. This disc does not hold the stop button/resume from the end of the last viewing. Played on a Sony BDP S3500 which does resume from last stop on other blu-ray discs. Each time I must remember where we stopped and scroll forward to continue watching.

    pride and prejudice

    color wise the movie is too dark. there are some places where it is so dark you cant see the people. especial!y at the end where darcy is walking through the field to get to lizzy. thats the best part of the movie.

    Well executed film!

    I rated this as excellent for the pacing of the movie and organization. That might sound weird but if you have ever seen the british mini series you know that it would be hard to make this into a major motion picture. I thought this movie was well executed and all of the casting was right on. It still drew me in as much as the mini series. Obviously things are still left out from the book, but I don't tend to compare, otherwise why even see it. I have yet to see an adaption from book to film done perfectly with every aspect of the book in the movie. Beside maybe some graphic novels like "300". This movie is great and looks great on Blu-ray.

    A period masterpiece.

    From the stellar performances to the attention-to-detail costuming, gorgeous scenery, and beautiful music, this is my all-time favorite. I watch this movie often and never get tired or bored. The actor playing Master Collins nails his part to perfection as does Elizabeth's mother, Mrs. Bennett. The camera literally dances from vignette to vignette in some scenes, particularly the Bindley's ball at Netherfield and from the outside of the Bennett's home just after Bindley's proposal to Jane. Wonderful film masterfully accomplished! Diana

    Great buy!

    This is one of my wife's favorite movies & she has had the hardest time finding it available to purchase. Glad I was able to find it & on blue-ray at that! Great price considering that it's blue-ray as well! Thank you for the surprise that I was able to provide for my wife!
