    Good movie - not spectacular 3D

    I am so glad it was not like Castaway! I did expect a solo performance and Mr. Damon did that well. The interaction between what is happening on earth and what is going on at Mars helped the story not become just "solo" acting. It was intriguing as he had to become very innovative to maintain his life on that barren planet. The greatest botanist on Mars!

    Best outer space movie in years!

    Read the book first, so I had high expectations for the movie. I have not been as impressed with movies from books I have read in the past. It doesn't stick to the story line in the book completely (would be impossible with the time constraints of a movie) but it does convey the same "edge of your seat" experience I got from the bookl
