    Milwaukee 2200

    I’m an electrician and have had at least 15 different types of these over the years. These last longest. Nice feature is it uses regular AAA batteries. I was trying to replace one that I lost. The one I had had a little flashlight built in. This one DOES NOT. Buy the 2202-20 if you want the flashlight.

    Made in China

    I watched a youtube video describing the milwaukee non contact voltage tester. The presenter said it was made in the USA. That tester had a flashlight and the audible sound was very loud. I didnt need the flashlight so I thought I would save a few bucks and bought 2 pack. One for my son in law. As soon as it arrived I seen on package, made in China. The audible sound is not as loud as my Klein.

    Great Tool

    I am a professional electrician and I will not do without a tick tester. I like this one for its slim style, reliability and best of all the placement of the switch ON TOP. Unlike other testers that have the switch on the side, this switch is on the top which prevents any of the stuff in your pockets from turning it on accidentally draining the batteries for longer battery life when you really need it..

    Great tool to keep from getting bit!

    So as an HVAC tech I am around power all day, every day. Sometimes you just want to know if there’s power or not and if the switches are wired correctly. Well I don’t need to pull out the meter and check actual voltage to just see if it’s hot or not. I mean, yes, an actual meter is still needed when troubleshooting a problem but if you just need a quick reference to know if it’s live or not, this is a great tool!
