    A strong NILE release

    NILE's Annihilation Of The Wicked sounds absolutely suffocating and strong. Its brutal, absolutely crushing and crucial. The production is raw and low quality.The guitar's rumbling distortion and constant thrashing screams ‘butchery and carnage’, thundering through your speakers at breakneck speeds, while every so often slowing break downs, chugging and clinging down upon you. The drums are rumbling awesome mess. Rattleling snares and technically-enhanced blast-beats are absolutely driven. the album’s direction ... Karl Sanders deep throated and inhumane voice scorches the listener's ears and gives him this boiling pot of brutal death metal ...

    BRUTAL DEATH METAL WITH GREAT SOUND

    Nile is much like Deeds of Flesh, they don't sound that much alike but you know exactly what you are gonna get when you push the play button. This cd is more of the same, chunky brutal death metal and it has excellent sound production.

    Nile - Annilhilation Of The Wicked

    A ver good Death Metal CD but not as good as the last one (In Their Darkened Shrines), powerfull songs with a great use of the drums and some mix of mesopotamia music, one of the things that I like about this CD is that in the booklet thay give explanation about the song and references of the people/gods they talk about. For me NILE is one of the gratest Death Metal bands today (and live they are very powerfull) something out of the ordinary church/god bashing

    Excellent epic death metal.

    By far the most captivating of all Nile albums. Extremely epic death, just enough atmosphere and operatic interludes. Great technical guitar work, excellent use of vocabulary.

    Nothing short of amazing...

    A great metal masterpiece. Insane riffing, awe-inspiring drumwork...a very memorable effort and at this time, probably my favorite Nile album. Don't skip this one...
