Nice alternative to push-pull pots
This is a nice way to avoid using push-pull pots to attain the same effects. On my guitar I cannot use push-pull pots without a major guitar body modification. Using the Triple Shot allowed me to coil tap my pickup in the same manner that push-pull pots would. The Triple Shot ring mounted without issue on my Epiphone guitar Soldering was without problem although I had to find the 'color conversion' chart because Seymour Duncan uses different colors for different wires compared to Epiphone and Gibson pickups. Of course if I used a Seymour Duncan pickup the wiring would match without issue. Only two issued: I wish the solder pads on the PCB were a little bigger. This would make soldering easier but more specifically I would feel confident that I wouldn't burn up the PCB with repeated ... This got in the way of my strumming one time. Probably will happen again but now I'm aware of the possibility and will be more careful. Overall this is a great way to add coil tapping to a guitar without any push-pulls or without having to modify your guitar in any permanent fashion. Good job Seymour!
