    Using an older Android version (5.1) works fine.

    I would highly recommend that an Android device with an older ROM be used Android 5.1 has been trouble free for. I keep a few old tablets around for this purpose. I don't have an Apple device so don't know how that side is.

    Good but no WiFi

    I wish it had WiFi capabilities. To access/download the data I need to get near the unit since it has only bluetooth capability.Good but no iFi
