  • Great Book

Interestingly, when this book was published, it was recieved with such hostility, that Thomas Hardy never wrote again. This book is a masterpiece which challenged the social laws of the day. Set in a fictional area in England, Jude tries desperately to rise above his class through learning. His dream is to be a student at Christminster. Along the way he is tricked into a marriage. I will not tell any more for feel of spoiling the story. READ IT!
