    Too Old To Rock 'N' Roll: Too Young To Die

    Well, being a long-time fan of Jethro Tull, I wouldn't rank this album all that high. Better than MINSTREL IN THE GALLERY? Sure. But this album really was the beginning of the end. Released in 1976, the album begins with a prelude of the title-track and goes in QUIZZ KID. This song may lead one into thinking that this is album has promise. It doesn't. One of my favorite Tull tunes, QUIZZ KID is a quintesential Tull song... quick melodic changes, great instrumentation, Ian Anderson's signature vocal inflections and witty lyrics. The cover artwork as well as the complete lyrics of this greaser theme-ed gate-fold album are very nice (describing the original record album). I had the CD which shrinks the back cover containing the lyrics to ridiculously unreadable font. The title track is quite ...

    Not the best but better than i remembered.

    This release is no where near the best Jethro Tull album, but it's better than I remembered. The title track is one of the weakest songs, bust over all a solid album 3-4 out of 5.

    Oh! For the 70's again!

    Excellent CD. The amount of reverb on this album makes it feel like you are right in the studio with them. One of Jethro Tulls forgotten albums. Get it while you can.

    Too Old to Rock and Roll; Too Young to Die - Tull

    A real Tull classic. No collection would be complete without this CD. I'm working up to rebuilding my entire collection on CD and this is a "must have". Over 30 albums made, so I have more collecting to do before my set is complete. Thanks for a great start from a huge Jethro Tull fan.
