A box set packed with extras.
The set has lots of additional material beyond the original release. The box also has various tchotchkes included. Great purchase.

Its disappointing compared to the other offerings.
This set is not as good as the other two Dark Side and Wish You Were here. There is no 5.1 mix, it does not include the movie and the visual portion is only on DVD. Sure the videos would not look any better on DVD due to standard Def but the menus could have been in high def to give it a more polished look instead of a blurry menu meant for 480p. Its disappointing compared to the other offerings. Feels like an incomplete set to grab a few more dollars. Awesome set! Only one problem. Be Aware!
On my stereo, these remasters sound great. The album is excellent as ever, naturally. The greatest rock album ever, probably. The greatest concept album ever, certainly! I was a bit underwhelmed by the live performance recording. The demos are quite stimulating and entertaining, though. The DVD documentary is informative. The Scarfe interview is great. The paraphernalia are cool, for the most part: The coasters are a waste of space. Each has a letter printed on it, to spell out Pink Floyd. The ticket replica is neat. The poster is large and has the entire album's lyrics written on it in Scarfe's distinctive handwriting. Be Aware: Speaking of the poster---here is the one problem I experienced with this set: The 3 marbles included with the set each have a wall pattern printed on them. The ... I've tried several means of cleaning it, to no avail. I am actually about to see a museum conservator for advice. Here's hoping she is able to help. It is obviously the manufacturer's fault for packing the box with the marbles outside the pouch/not inside a plastic bag. I've tried to contact UMG in hopes they have spare poster remainders around somewhere. They don't even have the decency to send any reply whatsoever. I hope the conservator has a solution! Despite that issue, the set is definitely well worth the price. Buy now before it sells out. Enjoy!

What can you say about 'the Wall' that hasn't already been said? Well you can say that and more with this Immersion box set. It's tremendous! If 'the Wall' is one of your faves..do yourself a fave and get this..while its still out there.
