Excellent info on a simple subject
I borrowed this book from my local library a number of times, renewing it and taking it out again. The subject, although so simple, just intrigued me. I knew at times I was not consuming the amount of water that I should. This book will put you in the mindset of the importance of water. I found it very interesting to find all of the ailments (and many of them not so common) that could be cured by drinking more water. You can pick it up anytime and get good info. I decided to buy it because I liked it so much. The price and the quality could not be beat. The cure to all that ails you!
I heard about this book from one of my instructors while I was in massage school. What my instructor had said peaked my curiosity and I checked out the book in the bookstore. I couldn't put it down. I bought and read the book despite all the work I had to do for my schooling. I immediately began implementing Dr. Batman's suggestion. I have taken my self off allergy, high blood pressure and depression medications, substituting water instead. I discussed it with my doctor. She said I was crazy but I seemed so committed she would monitor me while I tried this. There were some definite withdrawal symptoms. I had a fierce headache for about three days. I drank, and drank, and drank water. Slowly over the three days the headache went away. My blood pressure is fantastic - neither too ... She said she never would have believed it if she had not witnessed it with her own eyes and now that she has applied it to her own life she is horrified that she didn't learn about Dr. Batman's work in Med. School. It is not always easy to implement Dr. Batman's recommendations but as you see results it gets easier. And the money I am saving on monthly medications is a big plus.

The author makes a compelling argument for drinking much more water than I thought was necessary for adequate hydration. I've read one half of the book and have learned a great deal about the workings of my body. For me, drinking more water has broken a 5 year cycle of chronic headaches (2-3 a week), helps me sleep better and decreased hot flashes. The book explains how dehydration and drinking the wrong things can lead to many of the chronic health conditions found throughout our society. In some places the book was too technical for me but skimming through it and finding the parts I could understand was enough to put me on the right track. The summary and treatment plan at the end of the book pulls it all together and makes it clear. I truly hope there are other ... I recommend this book to everyone!! Drink your water don’t let yourself get dehydrated.
I thought I was drinking plenty of water already but I needed more. It help me with my current situation. Also on the topic of hot flashes for me I was missing certain minerals and vitamins that helped with that as well. I highly recommend this book every one should read it. I also ordered the other books written by him as well. Look for a good clean used book and save a little money.
