    Great bk enables artist to continue creativity w/focus!

    I purchased this book for an artistic friend who was struggling with bi-polar disorder. He told me that the book was extremely helpful and he felt that the author understood what he was going through. This connection encouraged him to obtain, and stay on, the right medication. He is more focused and is able to follow through with the creative process because of it.

    Loved it! Will recommend it!

    very insightful! Answered a lot of questions that I had wondered for a while. this is the first book however that I had read about bipolar but I feel the author is very knowledgeable.

    Excellent source of information!!!

    I purchased this book to do some research for a paper. It was recommended by my Psychology professor. I absolutely fell in love with the book and found it extremely interesting. Even if it didn't serve as an aide in an assignment, I would have enjoyed reading it.

    This book takes a very insightful view of artists and their work. There's not another title that gets so personal between the two subjects as Dr. Jamison does in this intriguing study. Highly recommended.
