    Ruhlman does an amazing job covering the three sections in this book. The first sections consists of him observing the Master Chef exam at the Culinary Institute of America. He observes what the chef's go through during 10 days of hardcore culinary artistry to seewho will leave the institute with the title of MASTER CHEF. The second section covers Michael Symon's restaurant in Cleveland, Lola. Throughout this section you realize why Michael Symon has become the rising star that he is, through his personality and amazing talent. The third section has Ruhlman observing one of the best restaurants in the country, if not THE best, that being the French Laundry. Thomas Keller is one of the most influential chefs and owner.
