    No More Monsters for Me

    My mom used to read this story to my sisters and I when we were little and it used to scare the crap out of us!!! Now it's more sentimental because of the memories we have from it. My mom was always so animated when she read stories, and she always made them interesting and she had a way of making us feel like they were real :) She's still that amazing lady today. She's an awesome mom and a freakin awesome grandma :) I hope I can give my kids the same memories she's given Me :) I'm so glad I found this book!!!

    Not the best example for a child

    While I think the basic premise for this story is good, I was disappointed to see that the child and mother are portrayed as yelling at each other in what I consider to be an unacceptable manner. Bought this for my granddaughter, but am not sure I want to give her a story that shows a young girl yelling at her mother in a disrespectful manner right from the beginning of the story. This book would have been much better without this and really there's no reason to include such undesirable behavior in a story designed for the young and impressionable set.

    Super book!

    I loved this book as a child...and now my children enjoy it just as much. They want to read it every night!
