Funny movie this, and I don't mean funny "Ha Ha" I mean funny "Peculiar" This is supposedly a sequel to the original Cats & Dogs, but the only thing that seemed similar is that it happened to feature cats and dogs. What I mean to say is that as far as I can remember, none of the characters from the original are here (Okay, Mr Tinkles has a cameo) The first movie had a certain cuteness about it, cats and dogs fighting each other for supremacy, okay I can see that, but this time the cats and dogs have to team up to fight "Kitty Galore" who wants to get rid of dogs which would upset humans (and the cats don't want humans upset, that is a stretch) The first movie seemed to feature... well... cats and dogs, where as this one seems to feature a ... Funny movie this, and I don't mean funny "Ha Ha" I mean funny "Peculiar" This is supposedly a sequel to the original Cats & Dogs, but the only thing that seemed similar is that it happened to feature cats and dogs. The plot was not up to much, the effects were great and the voice acting was good. There are a few laughs at some of the one liners (Mr Tinkles dressed like Hannibal Lecter - funny, but would kids get that joke?) I'm sure kids would find it cute and entertaining, and it certainly was cute, just not really that interesting or entertaining for adults. Even at the very short running time of 80 mins, you feel that if the movie was any longer it would have dragged badly. Oh well, reviews were bad but I really hoped for more... silly me.
