A must have for fans of Michael!
This collection is amazing. Nowhere else can you find this many previously unreleased songs and demos all in one place. The collection is great for serious and casual fans alike. It is truly a career spanning effort. The bonus dvd is also excellent. Packaging and artwork make this collection something too good not to have.

The only boxset every fan should own.
If you had to choose one Michael Jackson "Greatest Hits" compilation to round off your MJ collection, I highly recommend The Ultimate Collection. The price tag is reflective of its out of print status, but well worth the money spent. Not only do you get all the classics, there is also a whole album's worth of hard to find rarities in the form of demos and outtakes, most of which are indeed album ready and proves that even Michael's throwaway tracks are truly another man's treasure. This 5-disc set comes in a gorgeous white hardcore case with gold embossed lettering and stenciled silhouettes of Michael's iconic poses. The case is very solid with a very pleasing non-slip texture. Inside, the discs are each screen-printed with one of Michael's iconic moves along with gold leaf lettering of ... If you had to choose one Michael Jackson "Greatest Hits" compilation to round off your MJ collection, I highly recommend The Ultimate Collection. The matte satin booklet features photos following Michael onstage, on the set, behind the scenes and in the publics eye. And is rounded off by each song's technical details and a career summery breakdown of each year from the Motown era up until 2004. The amount of detailing that went into the production of this boxet is noteworthy, the only flaw I could find is the omission of song lyrics. But that's what we have the internet for, right? Oversight aside, this boxset is truly worth it's weight in gold. And is one of the most treasured items in my Michael Jackson collection.

Bought it to have some history in the savings. My children were brought up with his music because Michael is a year older thann I. Now my grandkids are growing up listening and watching him and it gives me a pleasure to watch as they are learning his music and dancing which of course no one can argue was a trdemarfor him and something that no one will ever be able to do as good as he. They have been listenng non-stop tohis CD's and I've been surprised that my grandson who is two is already singing his songs and doing his best to dance. This is what life was meant to be and that kind of happiness is what makes it so perfect. Thanks to anything that Michael touched, he was able to turn it to gold so we could reap the benefits of it.Bought it to have some history in the savings. Reasonably priced and you get a lot of MJ's Greatest hits. It's 4 cd's filled with hits & a fifth disc which is a DVD from The Dangerous Tour in Bucharest! MJ sings 16 of his best on this one & it's like being at the Dangerous Tour! The other 4 cd's altogether have 57 more hits sung my Michael! There's just so many great songs he sang in all these 4 CDs & the DVD is a definite bonus w/16 more songs & you get to watch him perform! Totally awesome!
