Another great series when they used to know how to make shows.
This is still very watchable today, it is however not the complete series, only contains origianl series and non of the later ones, nor the ones when the show was sold to ABC who killed it. It is however a great value and contains the main epsiodes, hightly reccomend especiall at this price. It runs an average of $40.00 in my area so a great deal. Outstanding TV Series, poor recording.
This is one of my favorite TV shows. Being someone who loves Star Wars and Star Trek, both movies and TV shows, that should mean a lot considering they have set some of the standards. However, this specific set of DVDs looks as though somebody recorded it on a VHS tape while it originally aired, then digitized the series from the VHS tapes. I've digitized all of my 8mm video tapes and they came out pretty clean without all the graininess that these DVDs have. I still have VHS tapes and a player, and my old tapes look better than these DVDs. Menu screens are supposed to be like an arcade video game's "attract mode" where it entices you. But the menu screen on this set has jittery music when it loops instead of transitioning smoothly. There is no feedback on toggling the commentary, and I ... This is one of my favorite TV shows. This set of DVDs will give you the original episodes as far as content is concerned, and I appreciate that. However, I'll keep my eye out for a version recorded professionally.

Battlestar Galactica Original series DVD
Nice retro Sci-fi first series (not including the Galactica season). Episodes are in higher resolution than the original TV series but strangely not outakes or commentary. Brings back pleasant memories of network TV. answer to Starwars. There are no liner notes which would have been handy since the inside cover listings of the episodes are covered by the DVD holders.

Okay this is a whole series all 24 episodes including the first episode that was a movie where the colonies was attacked it does not have the reboot that was like 10 episodes in 1980 but lots of deleted scenes and bloopers
