    If you depend on a slow cooker, this is the book to buy!

    I haven't purchased a cookbook in years, but my neighbor loaned me this one and I fell in love with it. For the first time in my life, I was able to make Cuban Black Beans and have them turn out tender. Scalloped Potatoes are next!

    Great crock-pot comanion.

    This is a good book of receipes for the slow cooker. You don't need to be a trained chef to use it; and they will come out good and healthy, if you follow the instructions. Good breakdown of how to prepare foods; and, of why the cookers have HIGH and LOW temperatures. This is the only one I've seen with lots of Legume (Bean/Pea) receipe's and several CHILI receipes. It's spiral bound, so it will lay flat when opened to any page. This is a real benefit to anyone trying to read the receipe, while preparing the food.
