  • Stunning artwork

Even though these books are for children, I enjoy therm for their beautiful illustrations. They are worthy of being framed.

  • Annie's corn cakes

I must admit the illustrations in this book are much better than the story line. If you are familiar with the works of Jan Brett than you will be fascinated with the artwork. The illustrations are detailed right down to the saddness caught in Annies eyes when she can't find her precious cat Taffy. There are beautiful drawings of Moose, Deer, Bear, wildcat and other wild forest animals in addition to Taffy and her little surprise at the end.
