    Konami's genre-founding dance sim series returns to Xbox with this third edition of Ultramix. Players score points by following onscreen directions in time to the music; while a gamepad will work, the best way to enjoy the game is with a dance mat controller, which has players tapping their feet to the beat. Like earlier versions, Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3 is playable over the Xbox Live online service, allowing song downloads, content uploads, and head-to-head challenges between dance-happy gamers across the country. New in this version is a "Freestyle" mode that lets players make up their own moves as their onscreen counterparts boogie through 3D environments.

      A good one for your collection, and a great workout to boot!

      I bought this because my family members recently dusted off the old xbox with the first DDR game and remembered why we liked it so much. We have it practically completely beat, so I decided it was time to expand the library of songs available to us. I got this one because it has some great non-japanese songs on it like "Play that Funky Music" and "Where's your head at?" that I really like along with some songs from previous games. I really worked up a sweat because it is so addicting, even for an old game. You don't worry about graphics on this game since you're too busy dancing and looking at the arrows, but it has the original music videos from many of the songs in the background while you dance (like the music video from "Whip It"- super 80's! ;) I'd recommend this game to anyone who ...

      DDR Ultramix 3 is a must have title if you have a dance mat.

      Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3 (NTSC) - Title was only released for the XBox - Was never released in Australia - Very popular title - Fun to play and a good work out - Mod Chip required if using on Australian XBox - Essential dance mat game must have - Released in arcades I am now a proud owner own DDR Ultramix 1, 2 and 3 which I have purchased from American sellers on eBay. DDR Ultramix games offer high quality game play and excellent dance music which is good for the use of your dance mat. I like the party games and speed challenges as it gets your heart rate up quick and you get a good work out.

      Dance, Dance Revolution Ultamix 3 for the XBox

      This is a great game for everyone! I am 45 (and not in great shape)and I love the workout mode. This game actually tells you how many calories you burn based on your weight, tells you how many steps you've made, and keeps a daily running record of your workouts! The music is also really good, it has songs that I grew up with like "Walk This Way", and "Play That Funky Music White Boy", and also includes hits from today like "Butterfly", and hits from "The Black-Eyed Peas". My daughter is 15 and this was her birthday present....she loves it too, and the little girl she babysits is 8....and she loves the game too! This is one video game that you can feel good about buying for your kids, they not only exercise their minds, but they are up and jumping (really jumping!)with their bodies! I ...

      Great DDR game!

      I started playing DDR and this was the first DDR game I bought. I have to say I was very impressed. The game had excellent songs, dancing levels, story mode and such. I cant believe how much I was sweating when I played this game lol. The graphics are good but who plays a dance game for graphics? The songs cover a wide variety of tastes of music and they are many modes to keep you busy. You can hook up more than 1 dance pad for a friend or yourself which is reallly crazy. Give the game a shot!
