Definitely worth adding to your collection.
Jeff Beck is an original guitarist that sounds and plays like no other. Although I am not the world's biggest Jeff Beck fan as a musician/guitarist myself I can certainly appreciate his talent. Live at Ronnie Scotts is a great introduction to the newer fan or a must have for the true die hard Beck fan! He is backed by incredibly talented musicians. The show is well mixed and definitely worth adding to your CD collection.Jeff Beck is an original guitarist that sounds and plays like no other. This is the two disc version which is the one to get. Disc two has the guest appearances of Joss Stone Imogen Heap, and Clapton. Joss is okay but Imogen is fantastic. Her chick song Blanket is performed with class, skill, passion and precision. Clapton . People always want to see if he can still burn. Still solo like he used to. His solo on little brown bird is intense,just incredible. So tasteful, so strong, this is Clapton at his very best He comes out straight faced, no nonsense,and just unloads. I find that after watching,then later in my car,the taste,the style, the choice of notes is distracted by watching the video. Listening in my car I really noticed how great his performance is. A must hear for Clapton fans or any of the doubters , Disc two also has stuff from the Rock and ... This is the two disc version which is the one to get. This is advanced music for advanced listeners but you could , and should, play this for anyone. If you know about music, and especially guitar. you will really like this. Get the video today, do not wait. This is the nectar of the gods. Soul food for those who hunger for such stunning beauty . I rate this is as high as possible. Go now to the store and get this and the video because after you watch it, you will want the soundtrack for your car or to make mix cd s of your favorite music because some stuff on here is really good.
