Great packaging, fast shipping. Although the item was in very good condition, the disc itself was unreadable for my console. After writing about this to the seller, a quick response in favour of a full refund was given. Very courteous and professional seller. Very happy with this ending. B+

    An insight into the unexplainable

This is not a movie you just watch. It's a thought-provoking venture into a mind-bending experience. Put all your attention on Linda (Sandra Bullock), a loving wife and mother, going about her life in an orderly fashion. Seems routine, maybe even mundane to some. But, what happens next will be anything but routine. I don't offer any spoilers, as it will only add unnecessary confusion. Trust me. You'll want to keep your mind focused on the story. And, don't fall asleep (as if). Because, when you wake up, you might find yourself in a life turned upside-down!

  • Half-hearted, half-formed daydream

Sandra Bullock either has absolutely no idea how to pick movies, or she simply doesn’t care about how she earns her paycheck. Aside from her barely better than a cameo role in Crash, it’s been string of real crap from her for most of the new millennium. Her choices show no sign of improving, in fact Premonition may be a new low. In the film, Sandra plays Linda, a suburban housewife with a sometimes dead husband (Julian McMahon). One day she wakes up and he’s dead, the next he’s in the kitchen drinking coffee. It takes Linda most of the movie to figure out what’s happening, but by minute ten you’ll realize that she’s randomly time traveling. The whys and hows of it are uncertain, and Premonition doesn’t seem to think it’s important to explore them. The closest the film comes to an ...

  • Interesting twists and turns

I had seen several previews for the movie on TV - I love both Sandra Bullock and Julian McMahon, so I was very interested in seeing the movie. I knew the general premise when I started the movie, again, thanks to the previews, but I wasn't sure what would happen. I was hoping that they would all live happily ever after. It was really a deep movie, and took the viewer through this huge gamut of emotions. Near the end of the film, I wasn't sure just what i wanted to have happen. I found it interesting that they had considered and even filmed several different endings. I did like the movie, but it won't be one that I will watch frequently. It was a thriller and a philosophical adventure for me, but I did enjoy it.

  • Interesting Thriller

I actually liked this film, partly for the constant suspense of the film, but also for the rather interesting role reversal of a wife trying to save her husband and family, rather than the traditional film with the husband trying to save his wife and family. It was a interesting was well worth watching. Sandra Bullock performed exceptionally well in keeping with her character, managing to express great inner strength and still maintain a sense of femininity that is neither objectifying or passive. The overall performance of the cast was stunning as well fit well with the overall effect of the movie. Well directed and the plot despite its potentially choppy nature, still fit together surprisingly well and overall, I'd recommend it to anyone wanting something a little different and ...

  • Fasten your seatbelts, it's gonna be a bumpy ride ;))

I must say, this is a very welcome departure for Sandra Bullock after the recent romantic comedies and dramas which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Sandra Bullock is my all time favorite actress, I really like her acting style. As for Julian McMahon, this is the second role that I know of where he is the object of a premonition. This movie is very well made. Just when you think you have it all figured out, it takes another twist and turn. It is a film that must be watched in its entirety to be enjoyed. I first saw it on per-per-view (Movies on Demand). After reading some not-so-favorable reviews, I thought I'd wait until it was available on cable. I was pleasantly surprised, and then ordered the DVD. Although we all enjoy the "happily ever after" fairytale ending once in ...
