Works like a charm to cut back on cords
Thunderbolt peripherals are expensive but this is one item worth having. It gets me connected to my printer, external monitor, external hard drive, USB Hub, and wired keyboard with ports to spare. Of note, it does not come with a HDMI port but I already had a Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter on hand to hook up my existing DVI monitor.

Good product just one minor issue

Thunderbolt Dock for USB 3.0
We have an older Macbook and the dock let us connect to super economical USB 3.0 drives (as well as simplify the wire nest on our laptop and gave us the ability to use a firewire external monitor along with all the drives.)

Better then the overpriced OWC model if your a Mac User
Perfectly capable for handling a small amount of inputs. I'm a Pro tools mixer and Premiere editor. I recently upgraded from a 2010 desktop mac pro to a 2013 desktop trash can Mac Pro. One of the main things I needed was Firewire 800 input. A Firewire 800 to thunderbolt 2 adapter worked fine then a friend gave me the Belkin thunderbolt 2dock. With Firewire 800 plus a couple of USB's connected it works perfectly.
