I was thinking they were both the same length. Have replied to the vendor. The new part does not fit. In the original, one of the 4 bolt holes is wider and then narrows. As a result the part does not fit flush and has a .5 cm gap. I wish to return the part. Have attached a photo of the original part to vendor.
