    too many pics, not enough info

    I like collecting hot wheels cars and when I saw beckett had a pricing guide for the cars I was stoked. However what I was expecting is the type of guide that I remembered from being a kid collecting baseball cards. I expected a lot of print going very far down the timeline. This hot wheels guide is at best 2.5 years worth of hot wheels which is pretty sad and useless. This guide is ultra misleading in how thick it is too. Its got plenty of pages but most of the pages are cluttered with "pretty" pictures of the cars. When I buy a beckett guide its not to get a magazine effect and look at pictures, its to tell me what my items are worth. The only purpose a beckett guide does for me is to determine what is valuable and what is not and with this thing only going back to 2006, I give ...

    Useful

    Great pictures inside with very helpful guidance. Unfortunately this book doesn't cover all Hot Wheels cars (2006-2008), it only has Since 68 40th Anniversary 40-pack cars in addition to mainline cars. Highly Recommended for new collectors... Hope the next edition will be much better! Cheers.. :)

    its a new company-some of my cars are worth more in it.

    its a nice color picture catalog with values. if it had more of the color variations/rims etc added would be great as it is for your personal catalog. all you would have to do is check the box to the one you have. also because its new only 2006-2007 is complete. ill have to wait till next year to get all of the values for 2008. supposedly they will come out with later years too.

    beckett hot wheels guide

    i like the picture guide, i only wish it covered more of the cars instead of just the basic cars. It didnt cover any of the holiday cars sets.
