Sweet, unassuming librarian Gloria Mundy stumbles upon a plot to kill the Pope, who will be visiting soon. When Gloria realizes she's been marked for murder, she goes to detective Tony Carlson for help. Together the twosome set out to unravel the wacky but heinous murder plot. Along the way they encounter a deadly midget, a shadowy albino, a wild and kinky swinger (with an unbelievable bedroom), vanishing cadavers, and much more, culminating in a wild car chase through the steep streets of San Francisco. And as they make their way through all the lunacy, Gloria and Tony might just be falling in love, too... Chase and Hawn are the reason to watch this Hitchcockian update.

    Exciting movie with lots of laughs.

    This movie keeps you on your toes, suspense, murder, action. I laughed so hard during this movie it was a tear jerker. A must see movie has great actors, actress who really bring this movie alive.

    Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn are great together!

    Loved this movie when it first came out and have wanted to see it again ever since. Could not rmember the name of it, so I looked up Chevy Chase on Wikipedia.com and found the name of the film. I went straight to Ebay and located it, and bought it immediately. As soon as it arrived I watched it and LMAO! It is just as good as I remembered it. The cameos with Dudley Moore and Burgess Meredith are great, too! I had forgotten they were both in the movie. You'll really love this oldie, but goodie! Classic comedy of the masters form Laugh In and Saturday Night Live (Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase)!

    A MUST HAVE Classic!

    This movie is SUCH a classic! My sister and I used to watch it ALL the time when we were kids and when we watched it again, it brought back such GREAT memories! It is quirky, funny, a love story, a little drama and has all else in between. GREAT characters, awesome acting, and shows you can have a GOOD movie WITHOUT ENORMOUS amounts of sex, violence, drugs and nonsense actions. It has just enough, to make a GREAT movie. ;) A MUST have!

    Fun, light hearted entertainment

    A great soundtrack to go along with a funny comedy/mystery/action movie with great actors that made this movie so fun to watch! Their chemistry made the movie. If you have ever been heart broken and still manage to have a sense of humor you will love this movie!! It's light hearted comedy and adventure are fun to watch and you can't help but to relate to Gloria (the main character). All the characters did a wonderful job and I have to say, for me, this is one of my faves.....
