    INCREDIBLE

    The movie is based on the true story of African American Carl Brashear(Cuba Gooding Jr.) as he leaves his family behind to join the United States Navy. But when Brashear enrolls into the dive academy he finds that his endeavors will not be so easily reached, especially when he crosses paths with his soon to be worst nightmare former US Navy Master Diver Billy Sunday(Robert DeNiro). Due to racism and predjudiced it seems as if Carl will not make his dreams come true if not for his determination, will power and undying spirit to succeed. This movie is one of triumph and tragedy, heart and soul. An emotional ride the whole family will enjoy from start to unbelievable finish.     Master Diver

    Being a former US NAVY diver, I connected with the main characters in this film. When you consider this movie was based on true life experiences of the first African/American Master Diver, I can see this becoming a classic for future movie watchers. I bought this particular copy because of: #1 the price! But I also wanted to share the disc with freinds that may not have seen it or at least didn't want to spend the $ to rent it. I also will watch it myself from time to time.
