Lizzy sees the changes in her niece when Beth shows her the woodworking, and after Lizzy hunts down Jonah, the artist, she is all the more determined that Beth meets this man with the hands that create healing art. But it's not that simple-will Lizzy's elaborate plan to reintroduce her niece to love work?     The Good Life

    I read this book right around Christmas time which made it that much more enjoyable. I have been reading Amish books for almost a year now and I feel like I am in a new world of experiences. Reading these books are like a reality check for me with the real world. I have visited the Amish communituy in Pa., therefore I can relate to many of the things in the books.

    Great book,the books about the trials of the Amish people are great. Cindy Woodsmall is a great writer about the Amish people and widows. Her books tell the story without the profanity of other books on the market today.

    Very, very good story! I loved this book, couldn't put it down!!! Highly recommend this book!! Cindy Woodsmall is a very good writer. I have read other book by her, excellent! Stories of the Amish are so uplifting and this one lives up to that.
