"Meddle" by Pink Floyd
This is classic Floyd at their best! I have always loved this band and will continue to do so. I am 37 years old and have had the extreme pleasure of seeing them live in 94' for the "Division Bell" tour here in Pittsburgh. And I feel almost blessed, so to speak, to have been able to see them live at least once. And it still to this day is the greatest live show I have ever seen. Still raises the hair on my neck just thinking about it, and how happy my wife and I were to get the tickets! It was like one of those things that at the time, was the most important things that we did and I would love to see them one more time! But until that day, we have their recordings to keep us company, and bring us that inner feeling of peace (or horrible confusion!) that Pink Floyd has given ... This is classic Floyd at their best! Floyds best album before "Dark Side..."
This is simply put, one of the best pre "D.S.O.T.M." albums. This album is in my opinion Floyd at their best. I recommend that anyone who has not heard this album to give it a listen. Echoes is a masterpiece and is the second most memorable track on this album. The most memorable track prize goes to the very bizarre "One of These Days."
