Reviews
Variety - Those who know a fair amount about the Beatles will look at "Living in the Material World" and marvel at just how much ground Martin Scorsese's George Harrison opus covers in 3 1/2 hours. But those of us who aren't as familiar with the band's most spiritual member are in for an unexpected treat., Hollywood Reporter - Martin Scorsese has found time to create another epic music documentary.

Item was just as described (near new) and I had excellent communication with this seller. The item arrived much sooner than expected, which was a nice surprise. The only downside was the item could have been packaged better as the packaging was torn in places, exposing the the dust jacket of the book when I received it. Overall, a positive transaction.

  • All in all, an excellent DVD, well worth getting for any music fan.

If you like The Beatles or George Harrison specifically then then this DVD is a must. Martin Scorsesse has directed a few of these biographical documentaries now and they are always a treat but this one gives a real insight into the life of a very quiet and humble man. Featuring interviews with other prominent musicians like Eric Clapton and Beatles drummer Ringo Star, other faces on the DVD include Georges wife and Son. The great Scottish Formula 1 racing driverSir Jackie Stewart also gives his thoughts on George and his presence along with others. Of course, there are also excerpts of interviews conducted with George himself.

  • good thanks.

  • Marvelous tribute to the dark horse ...............

Always was a fan of the so-called "quiet Beatle" who through his words & lyrics came across as a deep thinker & a great human. An absolutely excellent montage/collection of snipets & vox pop tributes to a man like all good people in the world, left us all too soon. Peace.

  • RIP George, in the not so Material Otherworld.

Moving, insightful and informative picture about the "quiet Beatle". And some great music!!! I almost shed a tear! A must for any music or Beatles fan. RIP George, you are dearly missed.
