Needed a replacement reverb tank for an old Lany 50 watt tube amp. This did the trick! Great seller, fast shipping, as described! Even included a cool brand sticker in the package!!!

    Sounds great but......

I installed this spring reverb tank in a vintage Rickenbacker guitar amp. The original unit was missing when I bought the amp but this unit is not an exact fit. I had to drill 4 new holes. Not a problem for me since I have the tools. However, sometimes when restoring vintage items you can't expect it to be easy.

    Reverb mod

It fit perfectly and came as showed ,but it didn't sound much better than the original .I was hoping to get that fender kind of reverb . but it wasn't a lot of money so I'm not out allot !

  • MOD Reverb Tank - 8EB2C1B

Replaced failed Accutronics tank with this MOD tank in my custom Fender Tweed Reverb amp, a NORMAL channel AB763 Deluxe Reverb. The MOD tank sounds like a vintage Accutronics made in Geneva, IL... lots of depth, warm tone with medium decay. I also installed a MOD reverb tank in a '71 "blackfaced" Twin Reverb. Same great results. Lush, smooth, wet reverb with long delay time. Modern Accutronics tanks, made in Korea by Belton (Accu-Bell Sound), are not up to USA-made performance and reliability standards.

  • I expected much more..... It is what it is.

Yes, a good value, enjoyable to a point....It's not as rich and deep and tonal sound as I had hoped to expect. I know it's not tube driven, so it won't ever be as good as one in an old Fender amp..... but, the decay is too short and the reverb effect is minimal....... I had hoped for much better. I will use it as my old "acutronics" reverb unit quit. I think it sounded better than this one. It is what it is.

  • Great replacement for Monoprice 15 watt tank

This one is much more usable than the stock tank and takes about 10 minutes to swap. Everything lines up perfectly. This one has an extra spring and sounds more rich compared to the stock tank.
