  • Good for young children - has a cute SONG in it.

The interesting thing about this book is that it has a cute "song" in it which is part of the story, but that you can "sing" instead of read if you want to liven up story-telling a bit. It is always nice when a book is interactive in some way. "I love my house. I love my nest. In all the world My nest is best!" The story is about a pair of birds with opposite opinions. Mr. Bird is quite happy with their nest, while Mrs. Bird wants to find a new and better one! The birds go off in search of the perfect nest, but find problems at each site they try. None is good enough. By the end of the book, Mrs. Bird realizes the nest she already has really IS the best nest, after all! Nice story with a happy ending. Young children will enjoy hearing this tale and following (or singing) along.
