  • Very good documentary about the Titanic

    Narrated by Leonard Nimoy of "Star Trek" fame, "Titanica" is a very good documentary about the most famous ship and sinking in history. It has great video of the "Titanic" taken from 17 dives to the ship in the "Mir" submersibles. The video includes bonus footage that wasn't shown at IMAX, and it is 75 minutes long which is about 30 minutes longer than the original film. The film quickly covers the basics like where the ship was built, its crew, and the sinking. Instead of going in depth about those things which you can learn from a book or another video or anyplace else, the video covers some of the moral, historical, and economic causes and consequences of the sinking. Another real plus for this movie is the short video clip of Frank Goldsmith, an actual survivor of the "Titanic." To ...
