This DVD set is the complete 1st season of the series. It has 8 episodes on disc 1, and on disc 2 it is the remaining 6 episodes and special features. I love this show, as a matter of fact not only do I love this show but so does my child, and my spouse. It's a great show about imaginary friends, which the title should tell you. The story revolves around a young boy named Mac, and his imaginary friend, Bloo. Season 1 begins with Mac being forced by his mother to give Bloo up, because the two of them are always fighting with Mac's older brother. They go to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, meet the Friends who live there and find out that if Bloo stays, he's subject to their adoption policy. Mac is given the ultimatum of 'show up every day to be with Bloo, or we adopt him out'. After ... This DVD set is the complete 1st season of the series. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - Season 1
Foster's home is an original series on cartoon Network and is extremely creative. I bought it for my girlfriends younger sister for Christmas, but secretly wanted it for myself. She's 10, I am 20 and we both enjoy it very much. It's very obviously funny, but it's extremely clever too. The animation is great, and all of the characters are so different and unique. They can all steal a scene. It's so much guilt free fun, and I highly recommend the program for all age groups with a happily open mind.Foster's home is an original series on cartoon Network and is extremely creative. Your imagination is the limit!
It is on rare occasions that I stumble across impressive children's cartoons. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is one of them. The entire concept of the show is fresh and fun. The stories (at least two-thirds of the time) have surprisingly strong, positive messages to grow by. There is occasional rude humor found in the series, but besides that, I am very impressed by the quality of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Great Product.
I haven't actually watched the DVDs yet, because they are a Christmas present for my sister. But I love the TV Series. It is extremely funny and one of the most fun and kid appropriate shows out there in my opinion. I bought it because my sister, who is now 19, loves the show. It is even funny for adults. My mom loves it too. I highly recommend watching this series.
