    Outstanding wide angle lens for the price.

    Well, it has a red ring. It's an L-series and the heft, construction and smoothness of the focus and zoom rings is exceptional. It is also the cheapest of the L-series. A remarkable lens, considering the price. The difference between it's newer, superior siblings is perhaps not worth the enormous price gap.

    Good Lens

    This lens is sharper than I expect. For me, much better than EF24mm-70mm f2.8 L Good price easy to buy.

    Cheapest L lens, yet the best one for landscape photography.

    I spend wonderful time shooting wonderful image with this lens. It's cheap for a L lens, yet the quality is to notch. If you are a landscape photographer I recommend you to have own this lens.
