Under designed, breaks too soon and can't get replacement parts - don't recommend.
I have a Ninja BL500 blender. I love it, but have used it only about 6 months to make frozen fruit smoothies, and the blades no longer turn. The threads are stripped on the grey rubber coupler that screws onto the end of the motor that engages the coupler on the bottom of the pitcher, and I just checked with Ninja online - Ninja doesn't sell replacement couplers. To fix my blender, I will have to throw the entire base away just because I can't get a simple screw-on part that maybe costs $5.00, ($.50 to make) even though everything else is in great shape. With dwindling natural resources and endless mounting piles of trash, this is a poor marketing and design choice by Ninja. Ninja under estimated the typical force on the coupler, under designed the coupler, and now we get to throw ... I have a Ninja BL500 blender.
