  • good phone

I decided to get the Razr V3 because I've had very good experiences with Motorola products in the past, and I wanted a mobile phone that was slimmer than my old phone, a Motorola Pebl. The interface is essentially the same as the Pebl's, which made it a lot easier to use. The Bluetooth also seems a lot faster on the Razr than the Pebl, which means any photos I take on my mobile phone can be easily uploaded to my computer. As for reception, the reception is fine. I haven't had any dropped calls or weird signal disruptions, which has been nice. That being said, the only real complaint I have with the Razr is that the keys leave an imprint on the screen. I'm thinking it has something to do with the way the keys lie against the screen when the phone is closed. It might behove you to get ...

  • Motorola Razr V3 a disappointment

This phone has a lot of nifty features and takes great pictures. It has good sound quality. I bought a red one so I can find it in my handbag and that is great. Unfortunately, there are downsides to this phone -- the most important one is that it simply does not hold a charge for any reasonable length of time. I changed the battery 3 times. The seller even graciously sent me a new battery - to no avail. For example, after charging the phone overnight I had a 15 minute phone call. The phone started beeping during the call and I had to recharge it again. Also, the phone constantly has to be recharged after entering data. Bottom line, even though I love what this phone can do, the downtime for recharging makes it difficult to live with. I've had a Motorola RAZR V3 before (purchased ...

  • ATT RAZR used on Tmobile network

I can honestly say this was one of the most trendiest phones to have back when smart phones weren't readily available yet. Every now and then I see someone with a RAZR, but they are most likely older folks. My mom really enjoys having a slim phone that is decently loud and is easy to type and see. It would have benefited her more if I bought her a RAZR sold by Tmobile, but I couldn't find a good one for under $50. Because Verizon solely has CDMA phones (doesn't take Sim cards) I couldn't better ones and Tmobile's network works okay on ATT's RAZR. In my opinion this phone is worth around or under $50 and no more because its a "feature" phone, and in today's mobile world, there are many better choices available. If you are looking to buy a phone for some older generation folks, this would be ...

  • Back to RAZR V3

I had a Razr v3. Bought a Blackberry Curve. I did not like that phone. used it for a wile but was unhappy with it. Had given my old Razr v3 to a friend. I bought this one on line to replace it. Sooo happy to have it now. Its so much smaller and doesn't get hung up on everything. The menu is so easy to use. It's easier to text. the Blackberry had to much on the key board was to hard to use. I like the RAZR V3 mainly for the compact size and ease of use. Also it has a loader ring. I missed calls on the blackberry.

  • Motorola Razr V3 Unlocked GSM

Overall this is a great phone. Very solid build, excellent reception and good battery life. Unlike most other phones this size it feels solid and sturdy in your hand and because it has a metal alloy body you can freely toss it in a bag and not worry about any damage. The best features of this this particular model is that it uses quad band GSM technology, not CDMA. So as long as you have an appropriate SIM card you can use it just about anywhere in the world on any network. We picked this one up to use in Israel. My wife and I have both owned these in the past we were very sad to give them up. In fact the only reason we did was because we prefer a qwerty keyboard for texting. If you don't need to text or if you are ok with using t9, then I see no draw back to purchasing one of these.
