    Teachers Edition Algebra 1

    This review is just in reference to the teachers edition of the Saxon Algebra 1. The curriculum as a whole is great, however, I bought the teacher edition of the book (which usually costs more) because in previous Saxon TE's, the answers are given next to problems in red. This helps when teaching the class so you are not flipping back and forth for the answer. In the Algebra 1 TE, the answers are just listed in the back of the book. I was disappointed as I already had a copy of the student book and answer key and felt I had wasted my money as I am still flipping pages to check answers.

    Saxon Math Algebra I

    I purchased this Algebra I book, student's edition, for tutoring algebra students. It is a very helpful book with clear explanations and examples of problems. Each lesson has a set of problems for the student to work (averaging 30 problems per lesson) that includes problems which reinforce concepts from previous lessons. Therefore it is a continual building of fundamental algebraic skills. Algebra 1 covers all topics in a first-year algebra course, from proofs, statistics and probability to algebra-based real-world problems. This book helps to develop a student's understanding of basic algebra which is necessary for more advanced math courses. Compared with other algebra textbooks I use Algebra I Saxon Math is one of the best.

    Saxon Algebra 1

    Saxon Algebvra 1 is a very helpful book with clear explanations and examples of problems. Each lesson has a set of problems for the student to work (averaging 30 problems per lesson) that includes problems which reinforce concepts from previous lessons. It is a continual building of fundamental algebraic skills. Algebra 1 covers all topics in a first-year algebra course, from proofs, statistics and probability to algebra-based real-world problems. This book helps to develop a student's understanding of basic algebra which is necessary for more advanced Math. If used with the D.I.V.E. cd, the student gets more than 1 way to understand the problems. Saxon math programs are the absolute best programs available to homeschool students.

    The Best Approach

    This series of mathematics texts is the best curriculum approach. It teaches new concepts and continues to review the ones previously covered. You do not learn a unit and then set it aside.
